Tup Island, also referred to as Tub Island, Koh Tap, or Koh Thap, is one of Krabi's most sought-after offshore islands for day trips and tours.

Koh Tap is part of the Mu Koh Poda archipelago, situated southwest of Ao Nang between Koh Poda and Chicken Island. At low tide, an emerges, linking Chicken Island with the smaller islands of Koh Mor and Tup Island.

Tip: Bring reef shoes or flip-flops, as sharp corals and shells often appear along, which can be uncomfortable to walk on barefoot.


The shallow waters around Tup Island provide a safe environment for families with young children. On either side, the waters are perfect for cooling off and enjoying the serene atmosphere.
